2023 Daher TBM-960
N960JB is a 2023 Daher TBM-960, an individually owned, fully pressurized turbo-prop single based in Tampa, Fl with 547 hours and no accident history. 0JB is Daher’s second year of production for their flagship TBM-960 produced in Tarbes, France, and 1 of only 56 examples for 23’. This TBM features the new for year-model Sirocco Livery paint schema, designed by French artist Alexandre Echasseriau, and has been configured in a handsome selection of Alpine White, Albeille Black, and Montaigu/Aulon Greens. 0JB is spec’d with $220k+ of build options and is sold with a transferable, pre-paid factory maintenance package which includes scheduled maintenance plus annual inspection fees through June 2028 or 1000hrs.
0JB is equipped with a TBM-960 designed PT6E-66XT turboprop engine producing 895 shp. The “E-Series” engine by Pratt & Whitney Canada is unique in that it is designed with a dual-channel integrated electronic propeller (EPECS), a digital engine control system (FADEC), and autostart- the first of its kind for a General Aviation turboprop. This engineered governance contributes in part to an impressive 5,000hr engine TBO, which is said to significantly reduce hourly operational costs. Mated to the engine is a Hartzell “Raptor” five-bladed composite propeller, which comes standard on the 960 and is fully integrated into the propulsion system. 0JB is equipped with the optional matte black spinner ($1500).
0JB’s airframe is a pressurized metal structure with carbon fiber winglets. A standard oversized cargo door makes passenger and cargo loading easy, and is equipped with a separate pilot door allowing comfortable entry/exit for the aircrew while avoiding the risk of tail fuselage damage that can occur during both. In addition to a standard rear cargo compartment, this aircraft is also equipped with a large front cargo compartment located between the engine and the cockpit. The two combine to offer 35 cubic ft and up to 300 lbs of cargo carrying capacity. The airframe holds 292 usable gallons of Jet-A, and is equipped with Daher’s FIKI system allowing flight into known icing conditions.
The 6 seat (1+5) TBM-960 is the fastest commercially manufactured single-engine turboprop in the world with a top speed of 330 KTAS. At the recommended cruise setting of 308 knots, the owner claims that the aircraft consumes only about 57 gallons of fuel per hour, which combined with the 292 gallon fuel tank- makes for a max range of 1730nm. Useful load is 1,446lbs with 888lbs available with a full tank. A max ceiling of 31,000ft provides significant flexibility in achieving speed, economy, and comfort at altitude. With a minimum takeoff distance of 2,535ft and landing of 2,430ft- that flexibility extends to the vast majority of airfield choices.
0JB’s 4-seat, 123 cubic foot cabin is configured in “Club” seating configuration. This aircraft is spec’d with TBM’s optional “Prestige” cabin selection ($200k!) which features “BlackFriars” styled leather, and a touchscreen (Passenger Comfort Display) allowing control of LED ambiance strip lighting integrated into both sides of the overhead ceiling panel, electronically dimmable windows, and an all-new for 23’ environmental control system. For increased cabin storage, 0JB features two optional Lower Storage Cabins; one on each side of aircraft ($9.8k), New for the 23’ year model are “ergonomically enhanced seats”, USB-A and USB-C power plugs, individual cupholders and headrest hangers for each passenger. 0JB’s cockpit is equipped with optional pilot & co-pilot airbag systems.
0JB features a Garmin G3000 integrated flight deck featuring Daher’s e-copilot® concentration of technological innovation and safety systems which can be compared to an “electronic copilot.” This includes an icing protection system, flight envelope monitoring through the Electronic Stability and Protection (ESP) and the Under-speed Protection (USP) systems, the Emergency Descent Mode (EDM) function, as well as the self-recovering HomeSafe™ emergency autoland system. New to the TBM 960 in 2023 and equipped on 0JB is the Garmin GWX™ 8000 doppler weather radar with advanced surveillance features such as lightning and hail prediction, turbulence detection, zero blind range for close-in returns, and ground clutter suppression. 0JB features Garmin’s GDL® 60 next-generation data transmitter for automatic database upload and interconnection with mobile devices.
A recent annual inspection was completed on February 20th, 2025 by Avex Aviation, an authorized Daher service center and covered under Daher’s “TBM Total Care Maintenance Program”. All applicable Airworthiness Directives to include (89 FR 84838) with effectiveness date March 15th, 2025 has been complied with on February 20th, 2025 and is available for review in 0JB’s maintenance log found here.

Gorgeous. What training requirements are insurance companies asking for here?
Most require at least 1000 hours total time and specific type training.
The addition of FADEC here is a game changer for the PT6; so easy to overtorque these engines without it, and that ain't cheap.
I've crossed the Atlantic in a 960, cruising at 31,000ft and ~120kts to save fuel. Incredible range, and such a delightful aircraft to fly!
About 270 gallons for the crossing. The efficiency at high altitude is remarkable.
That's impressive! What was your fuel consumption like?
Are there any recorded exceedances on the G1000?
No exceedances
